I would like to share this today (and for record sake.) I stumbled upon this show called One Million Star (超級星光大道) about one month ago in Astro. (I know I’m bit late here because the show was held last year.) If you watch the show before, sure you would know that there was one fellow called 楊宗緯 aka Aska who sing very well (especially sad songs). I cry almost every time I heard him singing in the show. Many are touch by his unique voice as well. Actually, I didn’t really pay attention to him when I first saw him because he did not look attractive and he looked even worse with his watermelon hair style. ( But he is looking better now with new hair styles. )

I thought he was supposed to win the competition but not until when reporters found out that he actually lied about his age when he first registered for the competition. He filled in 23 instead of 29 as his age. The reason he said why he did that was because he took about 8 – 9 years to complete few courses in university and to avoid any unnecessary questions from others, he decided to fill in 23 ( a normal age for last year university student). Although the competition didn’t set any age limit, but he felt that he had did something wrong and took fully responsibility by quitting the competition.

I felt sad when I heard this news because it’s definitely a lost if he stops singing. But luckily he didn’t quit singing and even better, he has come out with his first album called 鸽子.
