I was wrong. I always though that La Mer Creme de La Mer is the most expensive eye cream until I stumbled upon La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream.
Here are the price information that I gather from Beautiful Perfumes store in Amazon.
La Mer Creme de La Mer cost $1300 for 500ml/7oz.
La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream cost about 265.00 for 15ml/0.5oz.
OK let’s us do the calculation.
500ml = : $1,300.00
1ml = $2.60
La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream
15 ml = $247.00
1ml = $ 16.47
As you can see La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream is about 6.3 times more expensive than La Mer Creme de La Mer. Do you know how much it cost for a 500ml of La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream? Although it’s not available in this size, let’s us do some math.
$16.47 x 500ml = $3000? Nope….
$5000? Nope…
It’s about…
$ 8 2 3 5 +++
It’s that your 2 – 3 months salary? I really not sure why these eye creams are so expensive and I can’t even find substance ingredients in La Prairie Cellular Radiance Eye Cream.
OK, I was thinking how we can try these deadly expensive eye creams for free? Of coz you can steal it or ask your beloved boyfriend or hubby to buy it for you, but here some ideas that I can think of.
- Go directly to the cosmetic counter and try the eye cream in display. Remember be really nice with the sales girl.
- Become the sales girl yourself in the cosmetic counter. You won’t run out of eye creams to try then.
