As we all know, the skin around eyes is thinner and more sensitive than other part of our body skin. So what are the appropriate ways to apply eye cream or eye serum? Here are some easy guidelines for you.
- First, wash your face thoroughly to make sure the skin area is clean.
- Get a tiny amount of eye cream and dot the eye cream along the edge of the bone surrounding the eye using ring finger.
- Gently pat the cream into the skin starting with the inner corner of your eye and towards the outer corner.
- Then proceed from the inner corner and work your way to the outer brow bone.
- Repeat few times until the eye creams are totally absorbed by the skin.
- Allow the cream or serum to set for 10 – 15 minutes before applying eye shadow or other cosmetics products.
- For final tips, eye serum or eye cream are best kept in dry and cold environment. You can keep them in refrigerator.
