When I blog about Dark Circles Eye Massager that Base on Chinese Acupuncture and Magnetic Therapy few days ago, I was wondering whether you would curious about how Chinese acupuncture works.
According to wikipedia,
Acupuncture is a technique of inserting and manipulating needles into “acupuncture points” on the body. According to acupunctural teachings this will restore health and well-being, and is particularly good at treating pain.
I was once accompanied my mom to a clinic operated by the traditional Chinese doctors from China. There was something “sharp†thingy grow on my mom’s legs bone. I forgot what’s the thingy called but it was quite a common problem that appeared in elderly person. After several treatments and therapies using modern medicine and still without any improvement, my mom turned to traditional Chinese treatments.
I must say that even my mom said that she did not feel much pain in the whole process of acupuncture, I as an observer felt the pain on her behalf.
Imagine that, it’s not one or two needles. It’s hundreds 20-50 needles around your legs. You can try it by thinking having 30 bees stings in your legs. Ouch!!
Eventually my mom felt better after several treatments, but she did not continue. No too sure why though!

I go for acupuncture once every other week to treat my shoulder aches and it has been effective. Sometimes, I don’t fancy the ‘pain’ from the needles so I skip the treatment.
