- Get rid of puffy eyes by placing cotton wool dipped in warm tea (no milk) over the affected portion.
- Try to sleep flat on your back with your head on a low pillow. This will help reduce puffiness.
- Press the mound below your index finger, gently. This can help lighten dark circles.
- Use a sunscreen, meant especially for the face with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of at least 15, every day, to keep the sun’s rays from darkening the skin under your eyes.
- To cool your eyes, prepare a paste of ground nutmeg and milk. Apply all over closed eyes and around the eyelids.
