While I am using the essential oil formula around my eyes every night, I’m thinking whether I should take iron pills on the same time. If you read up the “Causes of Dark Circles†post, iron deficiency is one of them.
I believe it is not a myth because when screening though from forums to forums, you can always spot people who mention that their dark circles faded after taking iron supplement or eating red meats / livers which are high in iron.
Although I seldom eat read meats as I am planning to become vegetarian, I’m bit skeptical on taking iron pills because I’ve checked my annual body checkup report and it shows that my body is healthy and my level of iron is within the normal range. I’m not to sure whether my doctor will encourage me to take iron supplement if everything is normal even if I requested it.:)
Probably I will try to increase intakes of iron with natural ways first, means eating more vegetables which are high in iron instead of taking the pills now. Meanwhile I would try to consult my doctor about my iron level.
p/s: If you plan to take iron pills, it is best to consult your doctor first as overload of iron could be dangerous.
